What We Do…
The Choral Collection has been teaching young people to entertain for over 30 years. From our humble beginnings in the garage of our founder Vickie Jessen, to an entertainment organization with credits from around the world. Many of our alumni have accomplished great things thanks to the skills learned from their Choral Collection experience. Many have received college scholarships for music and dance, or pursued a professional career in the arts.
Some things you may have a chance to participate in as a member of the Choral Collection are:
- Spring & Christmas concerts
- Group performance & learning tours
- Special class activities
- Guest instructors
- Exposure to many styles of music and entertainment
- Great friendships that will last a lifetime
What Is Involved?
Learning to entertain is an exciting and enriching activity. It’s also one that requires a serious commitment to yourself and your fellow performers. With an organization like the Choral Collection you really get out of it what you put into it. We have scheduled weekly rehearsals for each group lasting between 45 min. to 2 hours. Our curriculum is designed to take advantage of every available minute of rehearsal time, so attendance to every rehearsal with a good attitude is very important. All of our time and energy spent in rehearsal culminates when we come upon our performance seasons. Performing is a fabulous way to build self esteem and confidence. Our show choirs are frequently invited to entertain at theme parks, business conventions, banquets, parties, and community events throughout the year. Each student will be given the opportunity to perform in front of a variety of audiences.
How Much Does It Cost?
Professional instructors, original choreography, four tickets to our annual spring concert… just some of the things that come included in your fees and monthly tuition. Tuition is calculated on a per month basis. Located on the “tuition” page you can look up what you can expect.
